The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) is excited to announce the addition of Amelia Southern-Uribe as its summer intern. Southern-Uribe, a rising senior at the University of Arkansas, is pursuing degrees in advertising/public relations and political science, with a minor in sustainability.

Arkansas will receive a federal grant of $93.6 million from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Solar for All program, aimed at boosting rooftop solar power in rural areas and promoting energy independence through a partnership with Hope Enterprise Corp. and the Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation.
