Recap: Arkansas Energy Lobby Day 2025
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association hosted an Arkansas Energy Lobby Day with its members to advocate for market-driven energy solutions during the 2025 Arkansas legislative session.
25 individuals representing more than 15 member organizations actively participated in Arkansas Energy Lobby Day including Bernhard, the City of Fayetteville, Entegrity, Greentech Renewables, Invenergy, Johnson Controls, OMCO Solar, RWE, Scout Clean Energy, Seal Solar, Southeastern Wind Coalition, Southern Bancorp, Southern Renewable Energy Association, The Stitt Group, Triple Oak Power, and Vestas-Steelhead Americas.










AAEA members attended and testified against SB 466 (TO PLACE A MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN HEIGHTS OF WIND POWER DEVICES) during the Arkansas Senate’s Agriculture, Forestry & Economic Development committee meeting. The bill failed a second time. Members briefly observed the convening of the Arkansas House of Representatives.











AAEA members and staff also took a photo with Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders while at the Arkansas State Capitol.
