The U of A Hope-Texarkana is an open-access two-year college that seeks to connect students and community partners to quality academic and technical education, beneficial student support services, customized business and industry training, community development endeavors, and prevailing educational opportunities through exemplary and timely educational technologies, effective content delivery methods, and efficient organizational structures in an environment of integrity and respect that fosters student success, economic improvement, and civic and cultural enrichment. U of A Hope-Texarkana offers students over 60 degree and certificate programs and over 120 privately funded scholarships. Some unique programs the college offers are Bladesmithing, Power Technologies, Funeral Services, and Associate of Arts online. Each semester approximately 1,500 attend U of A Hope-Texarkana to begin building their bridge to a brighter future.

University of Arkansas System
Since its inception, the University of Arkansas System has developed a tradition of excellence that includes the state’s 1871 flagship, land-grant research university; Arkansas’s premier institution for medical education, treatment and research; a major metropolitan university; an 1890 land-grant university; two regional universities serving southern and western Arkansas; seven community colleges; two schools of law; a presidential school; a residential math and science high school; a 100 percent-online university and divisions of agriculture, archeology and criminal justice.
