AAEA member Energy Efficiency Design & Development is proud to announce two new courses to be held at its training facility in Van Buren.

EEDD’s latest Residential Energy Professional course will be held June 24-28. The five-day course features hands-on training sessions providing students the necessary information, should they decide to enter the work force, or to continue to pursue national certification as an Energy Auditor. EEDD’s next Solar Panel Installer course will be held July 8-12. This is a hands-on class covering Intro to Photovoltaics, Solar Modules & Solar cells, Types of PV Systems, Basic Electrical Concepts, Conducting a Site Survey, PV System Design, Paperwork, Installation, Testing & Maintenance. The course will prepare participants for the Photovoltaic Installer – Level 1 certification exam through the Electronics Technicians Association – International.

The solar training course is co-facilitated by the Center for Business and Professional Development at UAFS, another AAEA member. The cost is $1,800. Learn more here.
