Governor declares March 14, 2017, “Arkansas Advanced Energy Day”

Little Rock, AR – The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) will host its third “Advanced Energy Day at the Legislature,” Tuesday, March 14, 2017, featuring advanced energy companies exhibiting in the Capitol Rotunda throughout the day, as well as a luncheon with policymakers. Governor Asa Hutchinson has issued an official proclamation designating March 14, 2017, as “Arkansas Advanced Energy Day.”

“AAEA members are creating jobs and spurring economic development in communities across Arkansas by manufacturing, installing or utilizing a wide range of advanced energy technologies,” said AAEA Executive Director Katie Laning Niebaum. “Today, the advanced energy economy in Arkansas includes more than 770 companies and a workforce of 25,000 people. We look forward to celebrating Arkansas Advanced Energy Day and showcasing our innovative industry’s impact on the state’s economy.”

AAEA invites legislators, staff members, government officials, business leaders, the public and the media to tour the dynamic Rotunda exhibits and learn more about the role this key industry is playing in Arkansas’s 21st century economy.

Arkansas Advanced Energy Day at the Legislature is presented in partnership with Seal Energy Solutions. Exhibitors will include CenterPoint Energy, Clean Line Energy Partners, Energy Efficiency Design & Development Inc., Entegrity Energy Partners, Future Fuel Chemical Company, Johnson Controls, Powers of Arkansas, Seal Energy Solutions and Silicon Ranch.
