Stitt Energy Systems of Fayetteville, a business member of AAEA, will host an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th featuring a Home and Garden Tour of a home built in 2009 by the company.  This home, currently for sale, exemplifies the 18 principles included in the book, Holistically Green Homes, written by Stitt Energy Systems owner, Orlo Stitt.

The tours will be held from 10am-3pm on Saturday, April 25th and 12pm-4pm on Sunday, April 26th.  While touring the property and buildings located at 3533 S. Dead Horse Mountain Road in Fayetteville, participants will learn about the various energy and water conserving features that qualifies the home as Energy Star® certified.  The home has a HERS rating of 46 and is listed on the MLS “green search engine” in Northwest Arkansas.  The staff of Stitt Energy Systems will be on hand during the open house to answer questions and provide supplemental information.
